This innovative design modernises the traditional revolver, ensuring it competes effectively with contemporary airsoft guns. Clarence Lai, a notable figure in the airsoft community and a skilled gunsmith, has transitioned from Redwolf Airsoft to establish his own venture, CL Project Design. His focus is on creating components that provide a competitive advantage for popular IPSCA firearms, including the Marui Hi-Capa and KJ Shadow GBB series.

• Crafted with a full metal body, the [ARES] CL Project Design Airsoft Revolver combines durability with precision. Its black finish accented by bronze and silver highlights offers a sleek, tactical look. Engineered through a collaboration between CL Project and ARES Airsoft, this 4-inch combat version revolver features a competition-ready L-frame receiver. The revolver includes a top dead center (TDC) hop-up adjustment for enhanced accuracy and a CLPD swing-out 715 hexagon cylinder holding six rounds. It comes equipped with extended cylinder thumb release and stainless steel .357-style shell cartridges, optimized for CO2 power delivery and high-performance airsoft gameplay.
