The build quality is great, it feels hefty and the controls are realistic. The recoil is heavy and it feels amazing to shoot. As expected from a VFC replica at this pricepoint. It's mostly the same as the regular VFC FAL and you should watch Explosive Enterprises' review on YouTube about it if you want an in-depth review.
Now the not so great parts:
1. It's another VFC replica cursed by their glue man. After shooting 5 mags, several important screws got loose. Most of them are important so make sure to threadlock all screws and even replace them with stainless steel ones, because their quality is not great.
Some of these screws were unexplicably not threadlocked and others have been sealed with permanent threadlocker (I literarly have to buy another bolt carrier to install a NAPS because I can't disassemble my nozzle without damaging it).
The big screw which holds the stock (or the 1913 adapter if you get one) gets loose no matter what you do to it. This is a tollerance issue. You might have to shim that part to make it contact the reciever properly.
VFC has to work on this point. It has been a constant with all their replicas.
2. The handguard will only accept MLOK accessories with short screws. Magpul accessories will not fit since they will bump into the barrel. Slightly annoying.
3. The railed dust cover will slowly move backwards under recoil. Even when tightened and threadlocked. It can't move sideways, but it will eventually hit the rear sight. The solution is to bridge the handguard and the dust cover with a picatinny acessory of your choice. I used a low profile Strike Industries sling mount.
4. The sear still has the same issue as the original FAL. If you try do do rapid fire shots on semi, you will sometimes experience a double shot. VFC copied a defect which appears on a real FAL which has been fired many times. You have to file the sear a bit to fix this. Not difficult.
Overall, it's a great replica, but you have to check all of its screws
