The slide and frame set looks gorgeous, machining and the writings are simply great. I still didn't test (still waiting for some parts to finish the build), but I believe all will work flawlessly.The finsh, while not a golden age Colt blueing, looks nice, although I have some concerns about the resistance to scratches. To fit the BBU I needed to file some surfaces of the inner part of the slide. What annoys me more is the gap between the chamber of the barrel and the breechface of the slide (oh well where the breechface should be: ther eia a gap of more than 1 mm although I selected a Guarder barrel chamber to avoid compatibility problems. Unfortunately it seems it wasn't enough. This is the main reason for only 3 stars (could be maybe 3.5... but not 4)
