The Classic Army Metal Stone 96 LMG AEG is an airsoft light machine gun based on the Stoner 96, a belt-fed suppressive platform built to be lighter than squad automatic weapons such as the FN Minimi and M60. Its aluminum body carries an ambidextrous SAFE-AUTO selector, a microswitch trigger, a Picatinny rail interface for optics and accessories, and a six-position retractable M4-style stock suited to close-quarters use.
The 8mm gearbox is paired with a quick-detach guide spring system for field FPS adjustments, and both the outer and inner barrels and the hop-up unit can be changed quickly. The metal hop-up dial sits beside the ammo feed tray, while the electronically winding high-capacity box magazine mounts to the gun and feeds BBs through a tube into a dedicated slot, powered by a 9V battery accessed at the magazine's zipper opening.
